I departed HNL 9-30 in the evening. It was the "red eye" flight. Everything was fine. As soon as I boarded the plane, I settled down for a night's rest. Dozed off and didn't wake up until about half hour before the plane landed in SEA. Even though the layover was about 4 hrs, it gave me time to relax in the airport, eat breakfast, and and watch the morning sunrise and the fog roll in.

I departed from SLC 10-10. Check in was smooth and quick. Flight to SEA was great! However, when I got to SEA, I found out that my flight was delayed to HNL until 7. Instead of leaving at about 7:00 it delayed once again until almost 8. To make matters worse, I had forgotten my cell phone at my daughter's place in SLC. I'm grateful that there were good pay phones in the terminal, however, while I was eating lunch, I was paged over the intercom to call a certain number. I had nothing available to write the number down, but figured that when I was done I could go to the counters and get the message again. When I did, the rep could not find the number that I was suppose to call. Later, I found out that it was my daughter trying to reach me and that she had a slightly negative experience.
