45 minutes is the minimum for Dallas as I was not familiar with the "monorail" and the connection gate was far away. Sure pays to ask for help!

Flight was great and arrived in Phoenix early, even though they had been experiencing bad weather earlier. Would recommend Southwest to everyone.

BDL to CLT was good, CLT to PHX cabin was frigid, not just cool from an a/c unit it was freezing. Also funny how the blankets and pillows have disappeared from coach. While in PHX I bought a blanket for my ride home. During online check in was offered an upgrade to 1st class which I accepted for an additional $200. Ah, thats where the complimentary pillows and blankets went. Back in coach flight attendants were selling a little cloth bag that contained a 'blanket', inflatable neck pillow, thing to cover eyes and earplugs for $7. Another way to 'nickel and dime' the passengers.

We elected to spend the extra for Economy Plus. It was worth it for the free baggage, the extra room and the prioritized boarding. And we were the first ones offered a flight "bump" in Chicago, which we took. United gave us each $400.00, paid for a very nice hotel with dinner, and flew us out first class the next morning. Nothing but good things to say about United after being a Delta flyer for years. We have now switched!

Flew Delta from Hartford to Phoenix and the flight was good and the flight attendents were courtious and willing to please. We were kept apprised of our progress and we arrived on each segment in both directions on time or early
