After being delayed because of bad weather conditions, we got on the runway, and had to turn back because of mechanical difficulties. Thence, an even longer delay. Consequently we missed our next flight from Fort Lauderdale to Freeport. With 2 small children, we, and they were on route or in airports for over 18 hours. That was not a good experience. Bad weather could not be helped, but it seems the plane could have been checked and repaired during the weather delay.
