We were to fly out of GSP on 12-25-10 and there was heavy snow in the area, where they do not get much snow in Greenville, SC. We tried many times to talk to Allegiant Air and they do not answer their phone. We had to rent a car and drive to Florida due to this. Not happy with the airline, no customer service. More than likely we will never fly with Allegiant again.

Do not fly this airline. The gate attendant in Greenville, SC was the rudest airline employee I have ever encountered and that really is saying something. The ticket counter staff also was curt and apathetic.
The entire airline treats their customers like cattle. The seats are jammed together to the point that there is barely an aisle to walk down.
If you are looking for a bare bones flight where you are treated like you are crap on a boot heel, this is the airline for you.

Allegiant is a no frills airline and they are all business. Our flight actually left 20 min early. All ticketed passengers were on board so the pilot said heave ho! Once we arrived in Ft. lauderdale which by the way was the 3rd of July we were in our rental car within 30 min. of the time we got off the plane! The Ft. Lauderdale terminal was beautiful and very pleasant to travel thru. I will absolutely do this flight again!

What a great experience! None of the horror stories people talk about around the watercooler. I even had 2 kids under 10 in tow! The flight left 20 min prior to the scheduled departure. The flight arrived 25 minutes early. We were in our rental car within 30 minutes of getting off the plane. (Just regular rental car ck-in, no clubs or presidental service.) I will try to book all my flights thru Allegiant! We are already planning a getaway for a long weekend in Miami since the flight is a no-brainer!
