I'd just traveled from Paris on Business class, which was disappointing enough in comfort, food, and service, but the second segment, on First Class, was far worse. Imagine seats that recline only two inches, no entertainment screen, inedible food, and worst of all, no way to raise one's legs, the main reason I chose First Class.
