    Flying is no fun these days! Jumping through the important hoops is a hassle, but necessary. The planes are cramped, hot and miserable. It costs more to fly than before and yet the airlines stuff more seats in the pressurized lipstick tube/planes. Changing planes gates and terminals left no time for a quick lunch or dinner. Passengers are at the mercy of the airport shops, after the security check-in, for expensive food and drinks. The flight attendants were pleasant and business-like. All in all everything went well, but I long for the days before charges for checked bags, ziplocs for gel, taking off shoes and uncomfortable seats.
