I am a Delta Skymiles member. I flew Southwest in August and was impressed. Good boarding, no flight time changes. But most important was I had purchased the tickets some time ago for our son and daughter to come for a visit. They couldn't make it and Southwest didn't charge me a dime to change the names on the tickets or to change the destination. Sweet... Delta charges $150. per ticket for changes, Airtran $75. per ticket I may look at other options with Southwest,also good they purchased Airtran.

Does anybody know.. I have Airtran tickets for dec., do you know if Southwest will finalize with airtran by then... I hope not to have to pay for my luggage.

Also, I was charge $10.00 for a movie on a Delta flight.

WE wanted to get our seats 3 days early---$6for 1 way,2people=$24 round trip. Bad. Check in bags $15-1st bag $20 each additional. Come on, put in the fair and not at the last minute. Then a 3 hour lay over in Atlanta ( no choice for that time of day ).

It was an average flight all the way around which started with a cancellation on American due to bad weather in Dallas. American worked hard to not delay the flight and Delta took it but would only give us a flight through Detroit to get to Vegas (at least an hour and half out of the way). Delta did not provide any meals but did provide lots of cookies and peanuts. My main gripe was that a movie was shown on the flight from Detrot to Vegas which we did not watch. After I got my credit card statemnent I found I had been charged $6 for the movie. We were not given an option on this. I didn't ontact Delta about the overcharge because it was such a small amount but it griped me.
