    I paid top dollar for my wife and granddaughter to fly to Ft. Myers and back. Informed that seats would be assigned at the airport, they arrived and were placed in the last two seats, in the back, on both flights. My wife asked why we had not been allowed to reserve seats. She was told that this 'privilege' would have cost something extra. But we did not know that. Nothing in the reservation process, on the Internet, informed us about that.

    We will try to avoid AirTran.

    WE had a good flight. Smooth take off and landing both ways. On time both ways. Seats a little too close together but not unbearable. Worst part of flight was TSA scan in Indianapolis.

    Awesome flight...no bumps and arrived 30 minutes early! Gotta love Airtran! Not many direct economical flights out there and this was under $200 RT. The best!

    Very easy check in; good seating given for handicap access. Smooth flight. Reasonable pricing. I will fly this one again.

    Sitting up front on Airtran is a great experience. A ilttle expensive but not as much as if you flew on a legacy airline. The seats are comfortable... and the service is good. If your are a big person, it sure beats Airtrans coach seats.
