    It was an excellent flight, on return we were even 1/2 hr early.Very polite staff on planes etc. very Good trip

    I literally cannot fit into the Spirit seat. At 6' 4" my upper leg is too long to fit between my seat front and the seat back in front of me. I borrowed some of my wife's space outbound, and Spirit earned a high check in rating on the return by putting me in an exit row.

    my knees were touching the seat in front of me the whole trip but luckily I paid for an Isle seat and good stretch my foot out once in a while - the guy sitting next to me was not so lucky. He looked like a sardine in a tray.

    Check-in service was great in both Fort Myers and Detroit. In Fort Myers, the friendly check-in agent gave us better seats (window and aisle with an empty seat between) without my even asking. In Detroit, they moved us from row 28 up to row 2 when I requested to be further forward. Flights were smooth and uneventful, seats comfortable and it was all around an enjoyable and relaxing trip with considerable savings over other airline prices. Would do it again...in fact, I have two more flights booked on Spirit already.

    You go to check in, they have one person to place tags on bag. In Detroit, had to wait 20 minutes for an employee to even come to the desk to check your bag. Planes are dirty! Stuck my hand in seat back to get a magazine, sticky liquid all over! They don't give any free soda or even a miniature bag of nuts! Flight attendants look like they hate their job and you. All they do is push their credit card and flight club. Now they want to charge 45 bucks for carry-ons. Not worth flying to try to save a few bucks because hidden fees get you in the long run!
