My wife and I had a pleasant flight. My wife, being disabled, was helped both outside and inside the plane. Our seats were changed to be closer to the front of the aircraft.

I purchased this trip to take my mom on a mini vacations as a birthday gift....she is affraid of flying....but this time she wasn't....and that makes me feel a1a..everybody was friendly and very accommodating.

Flight departed 4.5 hours late due to mechanical malfunction. Not even a apology. Instead I get charged $30 for a CARRY on $25 for checked bag and $ 3.00 per beverage. THIS AIRLINE SHOULD GO BELLY UP BEFORE THEY HURT SOMEBODY. There was NOT enough leg room for a child I am 5ft 9 and my knees pressed against the seat in front of me the whole trip. On top of it it was so hot it caused one passenger to have what appeared to be a seizure and another to throw up Paramedics were needed to meet the landed plane.
Return flight delayed 2 hours due to weather I dont blame them

I worked with DeltaAssist to secure an Exit Row seat on this flight, and it was properly recorded on my boarding pass.
However, as I was boarding, I was given a new seat assignment, because Delta changed the equipment (different aircraft type). INSTEAD of assigning the original Exit Row Seat holders, Delta evidently gave them away to other individuals, including a couple who appeared to be more than 70 years old (that gentleman needed assistance to place his bag overhead-- how could he have operated the exit without assistance?)
Other than having to sit for 3-plus hours with my knees jammed-up, the flight was otherwise OK.

Our flight to New York on Delta was nearly flawless. Delta staff were available, friendly, helpful, and courteous all the way. Flights were on time and comfortable. Please note, I hate flying--have a fear of flying--so the less stress the better and Delta came through. I am flying to New York again in October and have chosen Delta for those flights as well.

There should not be a charge for checked -in baggage--at least, not the first one. Should have individual TVs, like JetBlue has.
