My husband broke his leg and was told not to put ANY weight on it and keep it elevated. We arranged for a wheel chair and aisle chair to transport him, premium seats on the plane. There was no way he could keep his leg elevated even in the bulkhead seats. Everything else was fine until we got to Milwaukee. There was no aisle chair available and the wheel chair would not fit through the airplane doorway.

What can I say? There was a wheelchair waiting for me when I arrived curbside, the loading was early, the flight took off on time, the service was friendly for a change and we landed on time with no wait for luggage. In other words, the airline did everything they're supposed to do. In recent memory, this has never happened.

The first part of the trip was great...left early & arrived early (altho we had to wait 15 min. on the tarmac as our gate wasn't open). Was a little worried about only having 40 min. between flights...but had no problem navigating Atlanta airport (even had time to pick up lunch).
the 2nd plane was a little small & cramped...but then it was a smaller plane, and you have to expect that.

Airport check-in was easy since we checked in online, so we went right to security, which was quick & painless since it was early in the morning. Our flight left on time - we enjoyed the flight attendant's introductory remarks since she slipped in some humor in her otherwise serious remarks. We changed planes in Orlando without trouble and left on time also. Landed at Milwaukee airport - first time in Milwaukee. We chose Milwaukee since it's about 45 minute drive to family in northern Illinois. Spent the holiday with family. Return flight from Milwaukee was also non-eventful and pleasant. Arrived back in FTL on time.
