“LOVE Allegiant... Price CAN'T be Beat!”

We live in Miami, FL and we own a log cabin near Gatlinburg, TN. All I can say is thank goodness for Allegiant Air! With 2 young kids and typically only a week of vacation, driving is out of the question. With Allegiant's prices, we are able to fly the family to our vacation home at least twice a year, always during peak season when kids are out of school, nonstop, typically for around $800. Before we discovered Allegiant, we were flying into Atlanta, renting a car, then driving another 5 hours, for MORE than Allegiant charges to fly directly to Knoxville, half an hour from our cabin. They're not always on time, but have never waited more than an hour. Don't expect any bells or whistles, but it's a great value to get from point A to point B, and with today's gas prices, Allegiant makes it silly to drive!

There was no wait to check in and the price was just right. However, the flight attendants were a little TOO comfortable w/ their job. They were snacking on chips and salsa when we boarded! The seats were comfortable, but there was no ventilation while we boarded and unboarded the flight. Would use again just because of the cheap price.

See above comments. You've got a new customer ehrn I can use Allegiant. I am a Spirit $9.00 club member and they are not in the cities in which you fly. I've been impressed with the service although the phone contact is not very good

I had never heard of Allegiant Airlines. The tickets were cheap and there was no wait at any of the check-in stations. The flight attendants were a little too comfortable and unprofessional, but the seats were faux leather and extremely relaxing. The only downfall was no air/ ventilation while the plane was on the ground. I would recommend this airlines to anyone not overly concerened about comfort/ class.

Not much to say about this flight, unfortunately we had to stop in Orlando because of equipment problems and a passenger who was on drugs

Pleasant check in staff, low price tickets.
Beware all the add ons of course, pay attention when your booking online as some "extras" are pre-checked!
In my experience, don't bother paying extra to pick your seat online unless you really, really want to.
Flight crew have always been a friendly bunch whenever I've flown with Allegiant.
Luggage seems to be slow getting off the plane, which is why you should fly with carry on only if possible.
Overall, it does what it says on the tin...low cost no frills airline.

On a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Knoxville,TN our pilot came on the intercom and advised us that the plane was experiencing a problem. He said the defroster on the wing was overheating and that he felt that he should land in Sanford, FL and change planes, just to be safe. I commend him for his wise decision making. I also thank him for avioding a potentally deadly problem!!! After a safe landing, we changed planes and arrive in Knoxville safe and sound!! Thanks again
