it was a smooth, quick trip to Denver from Ft Lauderdale. my only complaint was that my aisle seat did not recline and it made sleeping difficult. return trip, i paid an extra $25 dollas for row 4, aisle seat, with lots and lots of leg room, and with a reclining seat. Sheer delight! I have made Frontier my favorite carrier to Denver. I travel that route every 6 or 7 weeks and Frontier will be my first choice each time i travel.

Four of us flew FLL-DEN-SLC-DEN-FLL on the 10th and returned on the 12th and the flights were perfect. Every flight was on time and the Southwest personnel exhibited their love for their jobs by being friendly and upbeat. We bought the Early Bird for 2 of us so we could have good seats in two rows close to the front. We had empty seats in the middle coming back which made it nice and this is a benefit of Southwest's open seating versus other airlines' assigned seating. Fortunately no ladies with babies jammed their baby car seats in behind our seats this time so we were able to recline our seats and catch some Z's during the flights.

We had NO complaints ...... from baggage check-in to arrival at destination! Probably the baggage person said it best - "Southwest is a great company to work for; lots of really nice people work for Southwest!" That was evident in the ENTIRE journey! I will go Southwest every chance I get!!! I can't imagine a better airline!

I bought the Early Bird for an extra $10 so I could get a low A boarding pass number and it worked like a champ. We got a row four or five rows from the front. However I failed to notice a young mother with two twin babies get into the row behind me and she wedged some large baby car seat between the back of my seat and the seat back of the baby's seat. By the time I noticed it was too late to change rows to get away from her and her babies. The baby car seat totally kept my seat from reclining back which made the flight miserable because I couldn't sleep sitting upright for the 4 hr 30 minute flight. Some poor guy across from me had the same problem - another parent jammed a baby car seat in behind him and he couldn't recline his seat either but at least the parent warned him in advance unlike the mother behind me. This doesn't seem fair to me - why should another passenger be allowed to rob you of your own seat's functionality by jamming an object onto a seat to keep you from reclining? These parents should pay more for making long flights miserable for passengers around them and the airline should give some financial credit to the inconvenienced passenger(s). Of course this insult is in addition to the pleasantries of flying with the ear-piercing crying and the screaming babies, along with the filled diaper odors that almost make me puke (and I will get up and turn around to puke on the parent if I start heaving), and it is over the line of civility on passenger flights. Airlines like Southwest should not permit it and more people need to speak up and raise hell about it.

Found the trip and good rate for July in an email from airfarewatchdog. decided on frontier when I realized it was a non-stop flight. i got my boarding pass on line the day before the flight, arrived at airport an hour and half before departure time, and proceeded to gate. boarding was simple, quick and the flight left on time. on my return trip, i paid an extra $25 for a "more leg room" seat. i found this to be an unnecessary expense for the leg room in the other seats was just fine. Very enjoyable experience. i will watch your airfarewatchdog again for the best fare on my next trip to denver in october.

My husband and I traveled round trip to Denver. We would much prefer to make seat reservations ahead of time, rather than be assigned a letter, so that we are never sure if we can sit together. On our return trip we each had to sit in a middle seat. I had elbows from either side of me coming into my space. If I can avoid it I will not fly Southwest again.
