It's always a good flight when you can walk away.

And everything about these flights were perfect, except for one thing.

We arrived on time, even 5 minutes early, but was told the gate wasn't open at 9:30 am. We sat on the tarmac for 35 minutes, then other SW flights lined up beside us. Every 10 minutes the Captain would say, it will be about 5 more minutes. After a while we didn't know what to believe. It made me think, they can keep their on time rating, because we were at the gate, but we were so late, if we couldn't de-plane.

Everything was fine except for the boarding experience. Those without babies or those who were not 1st class passengers were told to walk down the stairs of the jet-way and then up the stairs to the aircraft...strange but true!!!
