I paid for a big front seat and a pet fee for my flight to ACY. The seat I got was the first row which was not going to work for my pet. The FLL agents were so rude they would not even help me try to change my seat. They told me I could sit in a middle seat if I wanted to change it. So when I boarded the flight a gentleman in the second row offered me his seat, thanks to him I didn't have to sit in a middle seat when in fact I paid for a big front seat. Spirit airline is the worst for customer service. They need to hire people who care and get rid of the rude ones (most of the FLL agents).

I absolutely hated Spirit Airlines. Their customer service is rude, the extra fees are ridiculous and their flight attendants are almost comical. 1. You pay for EVERYTHING. Do you want some water? Better take out your credit card! 2. At the end of the flight, the attendants ask you to put your seat in the upright position. Funny, because their seats DON'T EVEN RECLINE. Do NOT fly them!

First time flying with Spirit ( I am a diehard American Airlines flier ). I joined their $9 Fare Club for $40 bucks and saw an instant savings of $120, so that was good. I totally " get " their pricing scheme, so that's good too. However, their check-in at the airport is horrible ( non-working kiosks, unorganized security line ), they have NO in-flight service ( *everything* costs something, except a tiny bag of pretzels which is really just an ad for their MasterCard ), the seats are extremely thin and do not recline ( I knew about the non-reclining seats ... but even the armrests don't flip up ! ), and on and on. Yes, you get what you pay for ... but I didn't like what I get for paying for it.

Flt.268 from Ft.Lauderdale to Atlantic City. All day, 24 hours and less before the flight, was not able to print a boarding pass. Arrived one hour before flight and 8 people were told the flight was closed and we had to pay to get another return flight. Spirit refused to get us home to ACY without charging. They claim we got to the airport too late, we were there well over an hour before. Not only did we not get offered a free flight, but had to pay $ to get home. I feel since we couldn't print the boarding pass all day, they overbooked and it was a bogus flight home. I basically pd. for a round trip, but got only one-way. How do I complain to the FAA?
