it was a long flight so everybody was irritable, the flight attendant was rude, and the bathrooms were gross. other than that, for the price, it was a great flight. will definitely fly allegiant again.

I have to admit that the price was ok- if a person was traveling alone- but it was not so good for me, I was traveling with kids, and wanted to seat close by each other, and well… for doing that I had to pay extra $11.99 per person, plus $39.99 for one checked in bag. The plane going to California did not have AC working properly, the captain said: “be patient, and hopefully we can get the AC to work back again”… Finally the AC kicked in one to two hours getting to our destination. Coming back from California it was a much worse experience. Most airlines require for passengers to arrive at least 2 hours prior to departure, which I like to follow, but if I would have known that those two hours were going to turn into four hours, I would have done some shopping around. We get to LAX at 1:50pm, our plane was scheduled to leave at 3:50, and we boarded the plane at 3:55pm, everyone was anxious to get to the destination. It was 5:10 and were still waiting to take off… out of a sudden the captain speaking: “ladies and gentlemen we’re experiencing some technical problems and we are going to need you to get off the plane and we will “TRY” to fix the problem” GREAT! They waited that long to tell us that there was a technical problem! At least they gave us a food coupon to eat something, as we picked up our coupon the lade at the desk was informing us that we were waiting on a “rescue bird” to get to LAX from Las Vegas, and it was expected to get there at 7-8 pm. We waiting patiently, finally at 7pm we starting to board again, everyone was tired- especially the kids- we took off at 8:30pm- expecting to arrive at our destination at 12:50am. A few minutes before landing this mean woman seating in front of me started attacking my 6 year old son, grabbing him from his arm and yelling at him, I as natural mother and any mother would of done grab this woman’s hand asked her to leave my son alone, when suddenly she remarked that “my people” –I am Hispanic- was just a big mess… she was upset because my son kicked her under seat, and she wanted to rest… at all this no one from the crew try to escort her for grabbing my child or attacking my son with verbal and manual gestures, for saying such as racist remarks about my race- I am not sure if that is or isn’t included in the police of the crew not get involved, but I think it was pretty obvious, that my kids was being abused by this woman. And nobody moved a finger! My experience with this airline was awful! And if I could give NO star instead of ONE star I would have done that!.

after being told we would be leaving "soon" for the fourth time in three hours after we were due to leave: most passengers around me just closed their eyes or went up to the counter for their last canned Coke product. No food, no snacks, no relief. and while some airlines did land, allegiant did not. OK by me that the pilots and or the Airport were being safe and cautious, but sitting in a lobby for nine hours instead of being sent to a hotel or maybe being seated on some other airline just sucks! When I asked the counter captain if the airline was going to provide dinner, a hotel room or a future flight voucher. What did we receive? Nothing. We eventually bordered our plane nine hours after our scheduled departure time. Oh yeah as I bordered the plane I asked one of the pilots are we going to get a free movie or maybe some free drinks? He looked uncomfortable and said He did not think so. Conclusion avoid Allegiant Airline to Northwest Arkansas.

I'm assuming because of Allegiant's competitive fares, along with only 2 flights each week to/from XNA/LAX, every flight is packed with screaming kids. Boarding in XNA is out in whatever weather happens to be happening at the time so if it's raining, you're gonna get wet ! Our flight to LAX was only an hour late but the flight from LAX back to XNA was nearly 4 hours late and, unfortunately, due to a nasty thunderstorm, we were diverted to Tulsa with an hour delay on the ground waiting for the storm cell to pass the field at XNA. Our original arrival time should have been 8:45 p.m. but we weren't on the ground until 3 a.m. Ugh !
