Flight from Eugene to Oakland
- Round Trip

- No stops

We were delayed both ways on our trip. On the way to Oakland we were delayed for about 3-4 hours in the Eugene airport due to a fuel leak that was discovered after we boarded. I used to be a flight attendant and I know that a walk around of the plane should occur. Were they just so rushed that it wasn't found out until after everyone settled in to their seats?
The boarding experience was a wild west shoot out because there wasn't organization to the process provided by the gate agent---so, everyone was lined up to get on in order to get that overhead bin space!
When we get on, they want to charge $2 for a coke?! After the delays????
I think that some airlines are taking advantage of the post 911/poor economy situation to make extra bucks where they shouldn't.
The plus side, we paid $250 for 2 roundtrip tickets. Would I do it again? I really don't think so.
I mean 2 out of two flights with mechanical delays is concerning. I haven't worked out the probabilities but isn't this more than just a fluke?
