What a great experience! I was pleasantly surprised how great our flight was. The captain stayed in contact with us flying through rough weather and the attendents were very entertaining. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Allegiant!

The flight was OK once it left after a 21/2 delay but it was frustrating not getting info from Allegiant staff they were not anywhere to be seen! They did finally come and give us some soft drinks whilst we waited which was good but I would have found it very difficult travelling with small children. The return flight was OK but the wait was horrendous, once again we were delayed without any info this time for over 3hrs. This time I was very frustrated because 3hr delays seem to be the norm with this flight and that is unacceptable. The rating system you have is confusing because once the flights leave they are OK but the delays are just terrible.

We were delayed both ways on our trip. On the way to Oakland we were delayed for about 3-4 hours in the Eugene airport due to a fuel leak that was discovered after we boarded. I used to be a flight attendant and I know that a walk around of the plane should occur. Were they just so rushed that it wasn't found out until after everyone settled in to their seats? The boarding experience was a wild west shoot out because there wasn't organization to the process provided by the gate agent---so, everyone was lined up to get on in order to get that overhead bin space! When we get on, they want to charge $2 for a coke?! After the delays???? I think that some airlines are taking advantage of the post 911/poor economy situation to make extra bucks where they shouldn't. The plus side, we paid $250 for 2 roundtrip tickets. Would I do it again? I really don't think so. I mean 2 out of two flights with mechanical delays is concerning. I haven't worked out the probabilities but isn't this more than just a fluke?

My flight out as delayed 2 hrs for "computer problems" and then 4.5 hours on the way home. I was flying by myself with my 7 month old who was very good but should have never had to spend that many hours in an airport. While trying to come home from Oakland we never saw a Allegiant worker we had poor United people trying to help us. We never got a real reason for the delay and were never offered a thing. This is my first time flying with them and I believe it will be my last...bad experience.

I read many bad reviews about Allegiant Air, but I had 0 problems checking in, boarding or in flight. Although the flight was short -- one hour -- Allegiant's service seemed to be par with any other airline. For the price, $19.95, I'll overlook no snacks, charging for checked baggage and advance seat assignments.

Check-in was a breeze using their 24 hour advance feature. I was greeted by a very friendly, fast attendant. We boards very orderly and logically - no pushing or shoving because they were very specific (pollitely) about what group could come up at which moment. Plane was full - the attendants helped anyone who wanted or needed a seat change. We left on time and landed on time. Though this is the type of airline that has a "buffet" grop of extra services, they were easy to understand and avoid. (Bring your own food and drink.) The area under the seat in front of you, for stowing your bag, is very small for the aisle and seat sitters. The middle seat has a regular sized area. (Twice that of the other two seats.)
