I got a text message from Delta at 2:30 am that my 6:20 am flight from ELM to DTW was delayed until 7:45. I called Delta to rebook my connection from DTW to ATL because the delay would cause me to miss the original one. The agent told me to go to the Delta website and print the new boarding pass, but when I tried it that option wasn't available. I arrived at the airport at 5:45 am and attempted to get my boarding pass at the kiosk, but the system did not recognize my ticket info, so I went to an agent to ask what to do. They sent me to the back of a very long line of other passengers being rebooked for another missed flight. There was no information on the flight staus signs or monitors about this flight, and no one would help me. When I finally got to the counter, the agent admonished me for being late and told me the flight was leaving. He printed my boarding pass and I had to rush through security, and ended up having to walk halfway across the runway to board the commuter jet they were holding for me.
