Dublin Airport? Most confusing I've ever been in. Did not recognize the check in lines, stood in the wrong one at first, had to ask several people for help. Lady at the desk for Aer Lingus must be the sourest person in Ireland. We had not met anyone less than very friendly the entire week until we met her. Got through that experience, then landed in Shannon. What a fiasco that was. We should have stayed on the plane, but for some reason, everyone had to get off. OK. But then they routed us in and out throughout the airport, sending us in circles for about a half a mile, finally directing in the security area backwards! Well, of course once you've passed that door, you can't go back the way you came until you've been searched and screened and patted down again. After a few minutes, they decided to give us a bye, and had some official let us through without the major security checks. We had a time getting back to wherever our plane really was. Who knew Shannon airport could be so big and confusing? Aer Lingus, I guess.
