The flight was delayed and delayed and delayed. As usual they blame it on something happening in NY. After all the delays you would think that you could get a complimentary glass of water--no such luck. So if you think you are getting a bargain on Spirit---think again. The long waits, cramped seats,and fees for everything just don't add up!

The check in was great both ways. There was a 3 1/2 hour delay taking off. They had everyone board the plane and then get off and then board again. It was a little frusterating. Other than that, everything was smooth sailing.

Over all excellent flights. On time arrival, Crews friendly and helpful. Satisfactory experience. Delta is OK Airlines. WE will flt Delta.

Beware of how fast the baggage "tax" climbs. A $150 round trip from Detroit to LA looked good, but $60 in baggage charges, cramped space, not even WATER for passengers - makes me think twice before using this airline again.

Spirit has FABULOUS staff all around. The check in desk was great and the flight crew was fabulous! There was a 2 1/2 hour delay due to mechanical problems, but that can not be helped. The one big issue I had was how little leg room there is one Spirit planes. I am 5' 11" and was completely crunched. Also, the fee for checking luggage is little too high. Other than that, it was great.

Flight experience was better than expected. Attendants were kind and, I enjoyed the ability to watch T.V/flight info provided by Delta Air.
Flight was delayed by 45 min. or so do to problem with sitting plane but was all good when incoming from Seattle arrived and we were shortly on our way. No biggy..

The flight was late. They kept pusing it later and later.
In-Flight service was pretty much non-existent. No pillows (after 3 tries) no drinks offered had to ask twice.
They kept turning the light off and on.
Horrible!!

I flew on a Boeing 777-200 for the first time. It was a wonderful plane and would only have been better if I had been in business class! They have pods in business class. I wasn't able to see first class.
I was comfortable and liked the TV/movie screens on the backs of the seats. Check-in was easy and the flight crew was very helpful.
It was a very good experience.

Spirit is always late leaving Detroit on the trip to Los Angeles. Their usual excuse is the airplane was late getting out of New York City, LGA. When I am waiting for a flight of Detroit I really don't care about your problems in LaGuardia. The seat room in Spirit's airplanes is terrible. The seat in front of you is right in your face. Paying for your carry on seems to vary also. It looks like any size backpack gets on free. Even very large ones. Try to carry on a suit on a hangar and you pay $45 at the gate. It looks like sometimes they apply the rules and on other flights everything is free.

This was my first experience with Frontier. The flight attendants could have been friendlier but aside from that I was impressed with the service. I especially liked the CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES.

What started out as a pretty reasonable flight ended up costing quite a bit more after adding the "extras" e.g. choice of seating, baggage, etc. They did provide a small bag of free pretzels. I think their motto should be "you get what you pay for!"

Plane was dirty! Backs of most of the chairs didn't work properly. Had to pay for a drink!! It's only been about 2 yrs since I last flown and we at least got a drink. As we were getting on the flight at LAX to come home they informed everyone waiting in the hallway to the plane that there even going to start charging for carry on's starting August.

Flight was delayed. We arrived at the airport at 7:00 p.m. for a 10:30 flight. Desk did not open until around 8:00 p.m. There was just no one there. Flight was overbooked and it was offered that they would put us up with food vouchers, round trip ticket but there were 6 of us flying and they wouldn't do it for all 6 so we couldn't take advantage of it. The plane ended up leaving at around 1:00 a.m. Somewhere there had been a glitch in the paperwork? Flight was fine but we arrived 3 hours later than anticipated.

Spirit Airlines will get you where you are going nice and cheap but don't expect any creature comforts along the way! The seats are cramped and there are NO freebies-- no water, no pretzels, no nothin'!
