    This is the first time we've had a non-stop flight to Europe and it was great. We also liked that the seating was 2-4-2 rather than 3-4-3 so that the two of us didn't have to share a row with a stranger. Flight left and arrived on time.

    I wondered how this would work: Detroit to LaGuardia, then JFK to London Heathrow. Figured I'd get the scoop on American Airlines' website but found nothing (not even through Google). So, here it is: Yes, American routes this DTW-LHR flight through NYC via two different airports. And no, they don't provide the least help in getting you from one to the other. You'll need $13 (cash only) for the motor coach, and plan on waiting a while. The trip from LGA to JFK took about 40 min.

    Good movie choice with recent releases. We were going to England, and there were 4 choices (TV included) featuring English history. Thoughtful! We would fly Delta again.

    Departing the Sky Club in Detroit, we had exit row seats in Economy and plenty of leg room. Meals were excellent and the in seat entertainment was great- including AVATAR. Free beer and wine was a pleasant surprise. On time departure and arrival.

    After flying all sorts of American airlines in the past and getting bad service, I was SO surprised at what Delta offered! Good, free food, excellent seats, free wine, free films (a personal screen per seat). It was so great, I could not believe it! I traveled on British Airways some years ago, and Delta was just as good!
