Flight was changed both to and home from GC, both times bumped to first class for part of the trip. On the way home they put us on Delta first class and we got back to DTW even earlier than planned. Employee offered his cell phone if we needed it to call whoever was picking us up. We will fly with Continentall again.

Terrible experience with zero customer service from Delta. Detroit flight late because of weather in Atlanta yet they closed the door for the connecting flight from Atlanta to Cayman Island on time atlthough there were 5 passengers connecting on the flight. Customer service was non exixtent they just told me I would have to catch a flight the next day and that was it. I had to insist that they get me on to another airline as I had to get to the Cayman Island that day. After much to do I was able to get on a flight to Miami and get on another flight to the Cayman Island. This would not have occurred if I did not insist and also tell them there were flights out of Miami. They in no way wanted to go the extra mile, they did not want to go an extra inch. The ironic part to this is that on my return flight they held the plane for a passenger connecting in Atlanta to Detroit.

Our flight was average, but the Grand Cayman Airport needs some work. We were told by our hotel staff in Grand Cayman to be at the airport at least 2 and 1/2 hours early for our flight to Miami, and we were assured there were several restaurants in the terminal. Getting throught security took no more than 5 minutes and the only place to eat was the "Runaway" bar that had some sandwiches and salads in their refridgerator. You can enjoy all of the rumcake you could ever want from one of the several duty free stores, but I suggest that you eat before you get there.

Our experience was average. US Airways could use some tips from Disney on how to speed along check-in, especially when you've already checked in and only need to drop off your pre-checked luggage. Horribly long lines:(. Even though it was an international flight there was no complimentary food, not even a bag of peanuts or a cookie. Good thing was flight was on time both ways and Philadelphia Customs was well staffed and no problems getting through and to our connecting flight.
