Continental and United seem to be in a customer service war with consumers. Both flights - outbound and incoming - were originally booked with larger planes, then switched out at the last minute to a smaller one. The outbound plane lost 21 seats - so even though I'm a premium rated flier and had booked a month in advance, I was one of the unlucky people without a seat when I got to the airport. I had checked in the night before and my boarding pass listed a plane seat that didn't exist on the new, smaller plane. Eventually, they found a middle seat for me. But, of course, the Continental planes aren't equipped with Economy Plus seating - so I was squashed between two huge men hogging the arm rests, etc the entire 3 hours on the plane. The story was repeated one the return flight, although I got a window seat this time, instead of my booked aisle seat!

On time flights and no hassles with the checked luggage but still hate paying for that bag. Boeing 757-300 has a nice ride but could you pack those seats in just a little more? Flight attendants weren't the friendliest in the world either. Couldn't hurt to smile once in awhile girls!Stale pretzels in a package you almost needed a microscope to find.

Flight was ok, crowded! Not a pleasure like it use to be! Would prefer that carryon luggage be limited on full flights.

Once we got on the plane, Frontier's whole crew was great, the flight uneventful (just the way I like it). However, the stress in the terminal prior to boarding was very high. Every Frontier flight announced in Denver was overbooked, with multiple requests for volunteers, and finally threats of random people being pulled from the flights. An older couple sitting near us were terrified at being pulled from their flight. There has to be a better way to fill a plane.

I flew home with a fractured ankle after an injury in CO. I upgraded to the most spacious seat to allow room for my leg which was in a cast. We got the bulkhead for a premium price and this was about as much legroom as was available on this aircraft(Airbus). While it wasn't terribly comfortable it was better than the coach seating and I was glad to have it!

First, the plane had problems and of course United never said what the issue was. Gate change and 1 1/2 later in the air. Lots of pushy people all trying to get too much luggage overhead. On both the going and the return flight the gate agent was trying to get people to check luggage at no charge. Grumpy older service people who wish they could retire. Tight enough seating that people had to hold onto the seat in front to stand up. Return about the same only with no plane change. Why can't the US airlines run them like overseas airlines do even on short domestic trips. Overseas you board in about 10 minutes and beverages and snacks are pleasantly served in far less time.

Frontier flights are always enjoyable. Nice attendents as usual. Flight left a few minutes late but arrived on time. Getting luggage seemed to be a little longer than normal this trip.

We flew from Denver to Houston on Frontier. Very full flight, but things went smoothly. We had no issues with our flight. However, all six flights announced before ours were overbooked, and Frontier was offering vouchers, hotel and food allowances for anyone willing to not get on the plane. One flight was asking for 8 people to give up their seats. If they didn't get enough volunteers, they were going to randomly pull people from the flight. It sounds like a serious problem when every flight is overbooked, and overbooked by more than one or two. It made for a great deal of anxiety and outright anger in a crowded gate waiting area.
