This fare only includes one small "personal item" carry-on that does not exceed 16x14x12 inches. Larger carry-on or checked baggage require an additional charge. To get this fare, you must also accept a Spirit assigned seat at check-in and print your boarding pass at home or at an airport kiosk. Choosing a specific seat or using a human airport agent requires additional charges. This fare includes Spirit.com's passenger usage fee and "unintended consequences of D.O.T. regulations fee." These fees range between $18-$38 and can be avoided by booking at an airport counter.

I checked in with Southwest and checked my bags in right outside at a kiosk as soon as I was dropped off at the departures area at DIA in Denver. I did not even have to wallk more than 5 feet, it was great! The bags were checked for free also, which was spectacular! The round trip flights were non stop with unlimited snacks and drinks with friendly service and a smile. They are very customer service oriented and make you feel appreciated for flying with their airline. It was a great traveling experience with excellent customer service and pricing, I will be using their airline in the future!

I took my 2 grand kids on vacation to Miami and they really enjoyed the trip. The flight delivered what was promised, which is what I expect from a flight. There were no delays (except a few minutes due to weather) and everything went well.

southwest wouldn't be my first pick when choosing an airline - however, at times it is the most reasonably priced...but for an extra $20 i might go with a different airline next time.
