You learn something new every trip....only two bathrooms on the 737 and the front one hard to get into because no line is permitted and you have to time when you stand up...though in the third row (W)I finally had to make my way to the back. Also southwest does not even sell sandwiches, etc, even on long flights...only option was the free little bags of salty snacks....if I had known I could have purchased something in the airport. It was a long flight.....

Basically, air travel is not fun anymore. But Southwest at least accomplishes the purpose with a minimum of hassle. TSA took too long to get us through security - no special pat-downs, just a slow process - and we arrived at the gate 10 minutes before departure. I'm glad we didn't pay extra for early boarding privileges as that money would have been wasted! As it was, I noticed the couple in row 1 slyly guarding their middle seat as I waited for other passengers to move to the rear of the aircraft. So I asked if I could share their row, and the wife slid over to join her husband. I was able to enjoy the front-row aisle legroom for 3 1/2 hours! But nothing was extraordinary about the flight. Travelers take care of their own meals, although the complimentary beverages are appreciated. People still abuse overhead overhead storage, and the airlines give bare minimum space between seats. Still, we arrived early, and most confusion is a result of the airports, not the carriers. It was nice to be away for a few days and see new places, people, and things, but it's good to be home again. I do think I prefer to drive (with at least 2 drivers) for a trip of under 1000 miles.

I was travelling alone with a 3.5yr old & 7 month old. Everyone during the process of the flight was extremely kind, helpful and overall made the journey a totally pleasant one. I had not flown American in over 15 yrs, but will surely check them more closely when I fly again.

Over all I thought the Jetblue redeye experience was bearable. The seats leaned back a little further than I'm used to which was great and I lucked out with a quiet cabin to rest some.

The airline made me check in a very small piece of luggage at the point of boarding the aircraft saying all the overhead bins were full. IT HAD MY MEDICINE and could not use it till the baggage claim of the last destination flight. However on taking the assigned seat I checked overhead bin. LO it was almost empty. This shows how much the airline staff cares for the convenience of the customer

Some of it was not the airline's fault, I admit...due to weather conditions...however, to sit on the plane for 2 hours waiting for takeoff is just too long. It was a full flight as most are these days...with young children on board who became very restless...along with all the adults! Too long for anyone!

Nonstop red eye both ways. I liked the Directv, wider aisle, more room to stretch out, friendly FAs. Leather seating a plus as well.
