The flight to vegas was a wreck due to weather. We were in the air circling denver forever, waiting on weather to improve. Low on gas, we went to colorado springs for a few hours, where they did let us off to shop, eat, walk around, etc. We were called back to go to denver, and again flew in the worst turbulants(sp?)making me feel nausiated. Once in denver, the connection to vegas left 20 minutes before we landed. We waited in so many lines, like many others, to figure out what to do. The first ticket lady was rude, but it is because she had to deal with a ton of ticked folks. She did not help us with any options at all. We sat off to the side to gather composure and to figure out options & proper questions to ask. We waited in the line again (4ever) & was calm and had the list of questions ready. The new lady and man were very helpful and were able to get us on standby for the next morning, explained our luggage, and was able to note if we changed our flight to a later date to waive the fees (we would be losing a whole day and a half of our trip due to this craziness) We stayed the night in the airport since it was 1am and the 1st flight would be at 8am. We got onto the 8am flight, and once settled in, a problem occured with the plane. We all had to get off the plane,& the lady at the counter who got us onto this flight had to take the seats back because the other passengers whos seats we got was there. We did get onto the 10:30am flight and finally got to vegas.
I called to change the flight to a day later. The lady said the cost difference would be alot, so when I asked about the day after that, she said it would be $68 per ticket, which seemed reasonable, especially since it was sorta last minute and the hotel decided not to charge us for the night we weren't there (hotel was very great about things) We accepted.
THE FLIGHT BACK WAS AWESOME!! For some reason we were in 1st class, got free snacks and free tv on both flights! We got home 30 minutes early (much better weather for flying) After some research we realized that 1st class tix are pricy, so I don't know if they saw the trouble we went through and upgraded us or what, but it was very nice to get us home so comfortably. We will be flying with Frontier again in August so I hope we have that awesome treatment the whole round trip!
