I checked in on-line. That is straight forward for all airlines. Although the original flight was to stop in Phoenix I should not have changed planes. There was an unscheduled aircraft change that delayed us by @one hour. The headrest is not movable -- which makes it difficult to sleep. Several other airlines have headrests that can be adjusted minimally, but that is very helpful. All in all the flight was very average. My return flight was delayed 1 1/2 hr. due to late arrival of an aircraft. This meant I missed my connection and arrived home 3 hr. later than scheduled. This makes for a very long travel day!

Flight delayed over two hours. Luckily I did not have to catch a connecting flight -- several people on the plane missed connecting flights. Most of the delay caused by having to change planes, small additional delay caused by storm. It seems every time I fly American I have problems.

This is absolutely the worst survey site I've ever been on. Your rating system is horrible. The flights, service and check-in were okay. I've had a whole lot worse. Seattle curb side check in rocks! The food was pretty poor considering the cost. Fast food would be better.

One of the flight attendants was not a happy camper. Maybe she was just tired or exhausted. I think they should "smile through the pain" since most travelers are also tired and have paid a hefty price for an uncomfortable seat and no "free benefits" like snacks, etc. even though it was an almost 4 hour flight.

Late departure, ran out of beverages, terrible seat

This had to have been the most uncomfortable flight i've ever experienced, and i fly about 4 times per month. The seat (11A) couldnt stay upright, it continually fell back into recline position. The seat back pocket, was so overused and stretched that it took up much of what little legroom there was - pinching my knees for four hours. Im not a big guy 5'10 185 lbs, and still there was very little room in this seat. In addition to the terrible seat, the flight crew ran out of beverages in their first pass through the cabin - how's that possible? I'll probably have to make this trip again soon and im already dreading it.

Flight overbooked by 2; we not in a hurry, reservation agent joyous when we volunteered to wait. Next flight left 3 hours later. Gave us seats in the emergency exit row. Extra leg room; tall husband happy. Gentle flight and gently landing. Winds must have been right; arrived 40 minutes early.
