I WAS flying on FF miles and it WAS at the height of the Iceland volcanic ash problem (ticket gotten long before that happened), but if British Air can fly direct to London from DFW, one would hope American could fly direct to Rome or, at least, London. But, no, can't use AA FF miles on British Air to fly to Europe. If they're really partners, one would believe otherwise.
