Have primarily flown American for over 20 years. Find their service and consistency well above most other airlines. However, like others, fees are outragous and prices keep going up. Still, from ease of check in, to leaving on time, to dependability, to quality of planes, to AAdvantage program, to prices (if you search and reserve early) are overall very good. Maximum flight choices for us since we fly out of their hub at DFW. Seats are too close together, though, especially tight are those aisle seats and bulkhead seats because the trays are stored in a steel seat wall that are very tight and uncomfortable if you are a large person, but that is true of any airline. Planes usually packed. Too many people try to save baggage charges by bringing large carryons and they don't seem to enforce the rules fully.

American charged us $100.00 round trip foe two pieces of luggage, then wanted to charge for a lunch, and I am sure they will soon add charges for soft drinks and /or coffee

As always, AA rules! On-time departure going, almost on-time returning (aircraft was late coming in), great prices, waaaaay above other competitors.

One of the best flights I've experienced. It was on time, very smooth flight and landing. The flight attendants were nice.

Seat spacing limited particularly when seat in front of you lowers back rest the full amount.
Baggage fees are a rip off $100.00 for two of us round trip!

they provided in flight snacks and made sure my drink stayed full. attendants were polite and very attentive. they even gave water to someone that was sleeping!
