Although it was a regional carrier, the flight was pleasant. Delta is the only legacy carrier that still servers pretzels and drinks on their short haul flights. Overall it was a good experience.

Booked the first flight of the day 5:50am so the chances were we would leave on time. I must have been dreaming! Lights didn't work and the flight was 2 hrs. late, missed connection in SLC, and learned Delta has no maintenance facility in Dallas. Second leg, we were told the fight crew was late in their arrival from the hotel nearby and that flight was over 30 minutes late. Delta needs to do some soul searching as to their commitment to customer service.

Drove 4 hours to Dallas to catch the first flight of the day, in order to be in L.A. on time. Even though the plane was parked at the gate all night, they did not check it out and lights did not work. My 5:50am flight was over two hours late in leaving. When asked why was this not repaired during the night, Delta's answer was we have no maintenance in Dallas. Then why didn't they fly the plane empty to their repair facility and replace it with another plane. Then the connection flight was last out of Salt Lake due to the flight crew over sleeping.

The crew was good in seeing to everyone's safety features and we were in the air in a timely fashion. All went smoothly. Crew on first flight was more friendly than that on round trip flight. Great airline for flying.

Everthing was good but I hate traveling in the regional jets. They are noisy , cramped and smelly from the fuel. The stewards were very nice and helpful. Took ages to get off the plane because of all the carryons. They should let us get off if we have no carryons. They had the same flight 55 minutes earlier. Why not put all those people plus my flight on a jet?

Airlines are cutting out so much I wonder what we are paying for. Yes, fuel has gone up but so has the price of our tickets. SO why are they now cutting out snacks, meals, blankets & pillows, anything that used to be free that we must now pay extra for including the whopping bag charges. We should at least get one bag free, charging for the first bag will make poeple stop flying. Oh, and let's not forget that they now do even take cash on flights.
