Both legs of our RT were delayed. The return from Las Vegas was delayed over 2 hours and 30 minutes. We already had our boarding passes when we arrived at the Vegas airport, but had to wait in line at the ticket counter for an hour and 45 minutes to check one bag.It was chaos as there were no American agents helping on the floor. Credit to the Airport Management Officials at McCarran for preventing a bad situation. I don't see American's labor problems getting any better, especially with the holiday season coming. I'll not be flying with them until they get out of bankruptcy.

We had an issue with our flight times and called customer service(a number very difficult to find on their website) and waiting 30 minutes for someone to answer. We asked to switch flights. Howerver, they informed us that we would have to spend over $380 to purchase completely new tickets. We were totally open to paying the different in the tickets but not purchasing all new tickets. The price of their baggage is ridiculous. They just nickel and dime you. By the time you calculate all their fees it would have been cheaper to fly another well known airline. We will never use this airline again. Not worth the hassle.

It was a little confusing with Continental and United merging - we weren't sure exactly where we should check in! Booking under Continental we were given 2 confirmation numbers - you had to go to both web sites to check in, view your flights etc. I wouldn't book them again until the merge has finalized.

We travel to LAS every year for NYE. This year, we opted for SWA. What a nice surprise. I had no idea of the pleasant experience I was about to encounter. First off - no bag fees!!! That alone saved some big bucks. Secondly, the crew was friendly and professional. A far contrast to my experience on American. And for those that don't know, if you want the entire can of soda...all you have to do is mention it. More nuts, just ask. This is a smart airline -- they know how to keep costs low so the consumer doesn't have to pay in the long run. Way to go Southwest Airlines!!!

Flew out on Continental and returned on United. We flew out of DFW early with one layover in Houston. We really didn't care for the Houston airport. The flight was ok, but the plane had little leg room. Coming back we flew United into Denver and then to Dallas. Sure liked the United plane and crew a lot better than the Continental flight. The plane leg room was better...even got a full can drink rather than a cup. Why can't all companies do that? Everything seemed to flow a lot smoother than with other airlines we have flown with. We even liked the terminal in Denver. We have flown Frontier into Denver several times and just hated the terminal that they use. It always seemed crowded and had no place to sit and relax. The terminal that United used was really a pleasant surprise. I will fly United again. It seems like they have things going in the right direction. A good value for service.

I loved my flight! The Flight Attendant was very nice and treated my husband and I very nice! The flight wasn't completely full so she rearranged some of us and gave my part a nice row by ourselves so that my husband could have more leg room! Awesome! It also seemed like we got to Vegas extremely fast, which was nice! The flight back was extremely full, but it was ok. It also seemed as if we got home very quick! Overall, I believe US Airways will be it for me!

The flight to Las Vegas was fine. The seats are uncomfortable and crammed together, but it is what it is. On the way back, American changed the size of the airplane which changed our seat assignments. I ended up in the middle of the middle section (3 across) totally squished! I wish they would have let us know ahead of time about the change so we could have picked better seats.

Ugly - US Airways has outsourced reservations to a 3rd world country. Bad - Vacation package department is in states but doesn't necessarily follow thru. Good - Gate agent at DFW. It took him an hour but he got it all straightend out.

US Airways does not fly many flights out of DFW but this flight was great. When you can avoid American Airlines at DFW , you are a step ahead. No problems like waiting for a gate on arrival or being lost in the masses.

I normally use US Airways for my trips to Las Vegas. This flight was no different in that I received excellent service from check-in to post trip. Friendly, helpful people at all points of the trip and I am almost always on time or ahead of schedule.
