    It was a good flight but we had delays and had to land in Colorado Springs instead of Denver. And the In-Flight Service was not very good when we had to land and just sit. But other than the flight was good. The seats were comfortable.

    I'll start by saying the plane was on-time. My frustration relates to how the gate staff elected to board passengers. After calling for pre-boards, the gate attendant called for everyone not carring on luggage. She was processing passengers with "bags" that seemed bigger than our carry-ons. By the time she started boarding by seat quadrants, the plane was full of people trying to find their seats AND the overhead compartments were stuffed with bags and clothes. The flight crew on board did little to expedite this process. People were being confrontational with one another over what should be stored in the overhead. A few of us myself included elected to check our luggage. Poor decision on the gate attendant's part.

    We have not had a problem with any of our flights to Denver on American. They offer better return flights to DFW then other airlines.

    We never got hot in the plane that was the best part. They only serve cookies after 10am which I didn't like very much. But you get to previeew directv for the first 20 min or so and that was cool and it was fairly cheap to purchase it for the entire flight.

    Frontier tries to leave ontime if not sooner and I'm pleased to see they are continuing Midwest Airline tradition of offering chocolate chip cookies to all passengers.

    Nothing unusual about this trip except for the fact that it was very warm in the cabin until the plane was really moving, thanks to the heat wave. Once we were airborne, that was no longer a problem. And, as usual, the flight landed early. No complaints.

    The seating is so cramped even an average sized person is uncomfortable. God forbid if someone seated in front of us should recline their seat. Everyone is carrying bags on-board the planes because the airlines are charging to check luggage. Air travel is a nightmare. I hate how bad it's gotten. If I have to hear one more time how the airlines are losing money, I will scream !!

    I bought an "economy" ticket on Frontier then decided to pay the $25 to upgrade for the extra five inches of legroom and it was well worth the price. I'm only 5'1" but even I could appreciate the extra room. It was also great to have Direct TV to watch during my flight. Everyone from the ticket agents, gate agents and flight attendants were wonderful.

    At the Denver airport United took my bag at the curb, but I had to use a kiosk inside to get my boarding pass because the on-line check-in had a hiccup. Security check went very well and I had plenty of time to wait at the gate. Although the plane was at the gate and we boarded pretty much on time, we got away from Denver about half hour late. Flight was OK and arrived in Dallas somewhat late, but I think all that is part of the flying plan now. No major issues to beat up United with, although I hate paying $25 ($23 on line coming back) to check a bag. That is robbery.
