We only fly Southwest because their prices are consistently cheap, especially considering free bag checking. But flying Southwest does not feel cheap. The seats are comfortable and roomy. Flying out of Dallas guarantees a stop somewhere if you fly to a non-border state, but the stops are quick and efficient and the attendants are informative and are usually friendly and personable. Our last flight was with a 1 1/2 year old. What could have potentially been a rough flight was made very easy and managable due to Southwest's friendly staff, from ticket counter to the attendants on the plane. Great experience!

Even though Southwest does not yet offer direct flights DAL-LAX, I still choose to fly Southwest! Low prices ($231RT), Free bags ($0), Excellent customer sevice (priceless!). I'd rather make one quick stop, than fly direct for literally hundreds more!

Absolutely great flight & crew! This was the first flight for my girls (age 10 & 12)& we really enjoyed it. I would recommend southwest to anyone who would like an inexpensive fun flight!
