AA may not get much of my business anymore. I flew Southwest on a ski trip and needed to check my skis as well as bag. NO EXTRA CHARGE--- and with a smile! From the curbside check-in to claiming my skis and bag at baggage claim in Denver, everyone with whom I dealt was wonderful. To me, it's worth the stopover to get smiling folks with a great attitude. I will be flying Southwest Airlines the nex time I go skiing. And---the parking rates for Love Field are cheaper than DFW---another plus.

Loaded up, taxied out, taxied back, called for repairs, waited 20 minutes, unloaded, waited another 20 minutes, got a new plane, loaded up, taxied out and made it!

I always enjoy flying on Southwest. The crew is entertaining and helpful. There are always stops (not plane changes) when traveling from Dallas, but they are never more than about 15 to 20 minutes and you can move up to better seats before the boarding crowd gets aboard.

Really the trip was a very good, very comfortable flight and the air fare was wonderful; the bags fly free was a great addition.
