Over the years we have flown all the major carriers, both domestically and internationally. Some are better than others, but we rank JetBlue, and now Southwest, among the best overall. Although we brought carry-on luggage, it is nice to know we have the option to check our baggage if the need requires it without an extra charge. A recent trip via U.S. Air put us in a position (mandated by the airline and not by the TSA) which required us to check our luggage on the return trip at the cost of $25.00. This won't happen again as we will not fly US Air when given the choice.
