WE were unaware of the fact we were charged $25.00 for EACH BAG ONE WAY! Checked going to MIA and coming back from MIA! OUTRAGOUS!WHY WASNT this CHARGE up front so we could have atleast charged it in addition to our flight or why dont they do that? WILL NOT FLY again with American Airlines! And Americal Airlines had LOWERED our flight after we had booked it! OHH SO WRONG!And the Capt of the Plane was LATE GETTING ON the plane in MIA! Which MADE US LATE Getting back home! Grrrrrrrrrr NEVER Again! Very UNHAPPY~! And my butt got sore for sitting so long.. I even got up to go to the bathroom! Seats were very uncomfortable!

Recent roundtrip on American Eagle between Columbus, OH to Miami in December.

A bit of a delay departing due to plane needing de-iced. If time is an issue, consider leaving later in the a.m./day when ice may not be as much of an issue.

Pack light. Having not flown on American Eagle in recent memory, we were surprised at the small cabin space/overhead storage. However, the plane crew graciously accommodated bags to large for their overhead storage bins. Honestly, we should have packed lighter to begin with.

In sum, despite a few quirks, the service (non-stop) was well worth the price, and we would fly American Eagle again.

On my way to the airport, I received an automated recording stating my flight had been canceled and I was re-booked for the next day. This was unacceptable with my schedule. I called Delta to reschedule only to find out all remaining flights to my destination were sold out. I was offered a refund and while talking with that representative, a seat opened up on a flight. I took that but arrived at my destination after midnight. This has happened to me more than once with Delta. For once I would like to book a flight and know that I can count on it happening without having to jump through hoops to find another flight.
