From Columbus to Vegas was ok, flight was on time.,From Vegas to Columbus we had to change planes in Dallas, first we had a 20 minute delay due to flight crew having to come from some place else... this grew to 1 hour to 2 hours and then we boarded only to be told the system needed some type of fluid to prevent a hard landing. How come no one checked this as the plane was there for several hours, but no aircrew.. the Maintenance people were there, but no one checked this until the plane was ready to leave and then we all got off and they replaced the fluids. We got to Columbus over 2 hours late.

A little bumby on the way out. Bad weather all across the country that day. Arrived on time to the minute. Smooth flight on the way home. With nice tail wind, arrived 20 min's early. Why fly with any one else?

On the way out, the servers were nice but it was like pulling teeth to get a can of anything. They kept passing out those little plastic cups of refreshments. However, on the way back, we received cans of soda, juice, water, ect. Much better.

This is the second time in less than a year that I have flown round trip Columbus, Ohio to Las Vegas. The staff have been friendly and helpful all the way from checking in to getting off the plane. I appreciate the opportunity to get a boarding pass on line before hand, the free snacks and drinks to help pass the time, not paying extra for luggage, the non-stop flight and the occassional "We are now passing over the Grand Canyon for those of you who would care to look." Being someone who dislikes flying, this experience helps it be "okay".

There were no issues, and the flight attendants gave us all the snacks and cola we wanted. It's a plus that Southwest doesn't charge for the first checked bag.
