    Columbus flight to Dallas was great. Dallas airport is huge and we had to go between terminals because flight to Denver was canceled and then gates were changed repeatedly. Return flight from Denver to Columbus was canceled (flight from Denver to Dallas...again). American employee who changed our ticket was downright nasty. We lucked out when she sent us to United Airlines who gave us a direct flight to Columbus. I won't be traveling on American again...EVER!!

    These were Frontier/Midwest flights operated by Republic Airlines. Other than the 20.00 per bag surcharge, there were no negatives. No frills, but flights were on-time and gate agents, flight attendants, and pilots were personable and service oriented.

    My cab was 40 mins. late and my flight had finished boarding. I asked an agent for assistance but he was rude, yelled at me and walked away from the desk leaving the area vacant.Finally an agent appeared and upon hearing my plight; that I would miss my granddaughter's birthday if I missed my flight. She immediately called the gate and requested a hold, called a cart to meet me at security and I made the flight by seconds. I'm sorry that I did not get her name but thanks to her and the United crew's support I enjoyed my granddaughters' birthday. This is one of the many reasons I prefer to fly with United. Thank you!!!

    Our flight itself was ok. I didn't appreciate, however, that as soon as we bought our roundtrip tickets that our first segment of our trip was cancelled and we were given a new flight later in the day. Instead of a 1 hour 15 minutes layover, we ended up with a 4 hour and 30 minute layover.
