Everything went well...even though the flights ran slightly late due to de-icing, etc., we seemed to make it up in the air. So kudos to American and thanks to airfarewatchdog for alerting us to the great price. Will be looking for more at hopefully the same economical pricing.

Only problem was confusion regarding the departure gate. It was moved but no one was around to tell people until just before the flight. Flight was great, good service and friendly captain. But....do they really save that much money on not giving out pretzels or peanuts? I'd fly this route with American again, also Continental, both airlines consistently on time in my experience, at least on this route.

The agent at the gate was really rude. She had me put my carry on next to the template and then managed to move it so that it looked like it was sticking out. When I remarked about it, she stopped but asked me to put my handbag into a plastic bag I was carrying that contained a book and food for the flight. The person in line after me came up on the plane and said I should have complained because of the rudeness of this agent. I was very eager to get to my destination before the snow storm disturbed my plans. I will try to avoid US air in the future. It was a very bad experience. I continued my flight with American Airlines and Continental and these flights were excellent.

everything from purchasing, checking in, flying was pretty standard. the flight was delayed slightly because our aircraft was late from another city, but only by about 30 minutes.
