I was well taken care of from gate side check in until my return to CVG. The CVG gate agent was exceptional considering a necessary plane/gate change.

This was a typical Delta flight, no worse than a Greyhound bus trip but also no better. Using the Canadaire 500 means loading your carryon at the gate, which is OK. But at DCA, for no apparent reason, the gates are not connected to the planes so that one must lug the luggage down a flight a steps to hand it to the attendant. Why? This is most inconvenient, especially for persons with limited mobility.

The flight was fine but the aircraft was old and very smelly. The odor of stale urine reminded me of an out house.
