We were unable to secure seats on the outbound flight. I was told by American, that there were plenty of seats, but they were under "Airport Control" and we could get seats at the airport. There were 4 adults, my husband and another couple. We arrived at the airport over 2 hours prior to our DOMESTIC FLIGHT. The attendant at the counter, said this was the best she could do. The plane was an MD-80. I was given the aisle of the two seats, my husband and the other couple were given the 3 seats in the same row. An airline employee (fairly large man) was given the window seat next to me....instead of my husband. A few rows back, another airline employee shared the 3 seats with one other person. By the way, they were in uniform. Maybe I am wrong, but I think that my hubby should have sat next to me and they should have put the (large) airline employee in an aisle seat....

The return flight was uneventful, as we already had our seats.

It is a grin and bear it situation just like getting through the Orlando airport.
