“they will never stop charging you”

I boooked the trip and got nickeled and dimed at the airport. They charged me 75 for my golf bag which was 10 lbs less that any other carrier, and they destoyed my bag(standard airlines give you a 50lb they gave me 40lbs). Since it weighed more it was a 25 upcharge. I filled out there 20 page report and never got paid for my destoyed golf travel bag. They never even contacted me. I tried to call, good luck. So the bag cost me 150 and they charged me 150. So to bring my golf bag on vacation was 300. That's not counting my suitcase or my carry on. I will never book spirit again.

No customer service. Senseless policies. Astronomical baggage fees. Never on time. Price not worth the burden. Never again will I fly this airline.

“The Worst I've ever had to date!”

This flight was terrible. All the planes seats were worn out (exposesed metal rods)and to small. Felt like I was flying in a gas station restroom. In information pocket the books pages were stuck together with Gum and very tattered. Filthy!!! They charged $40. for your carryon bag and all refreshment cost you, even soda. Totally will not fly this airline again. Also before we took off and at landing the plane made very loud and conserning grinding noises. Also ran 1 hour late in first leg. Glad we had aloud a large layover. WOW!!!

Flight from Chicago to Cancun, Mexico was fairly routine, no major gaffes. Minimum flight delay out of O'Hare; ontime departure at Houston. On return flight, ontime both legs. In-flight experience better than most due to friendly, courtesous, efficient flight attendants. Only negative: waited 20+ minutes for bags at O'Hare. Very frustrating way to end otherwise pleasant trip.

This was my second round trip flight on Mexicana Airlines. I was very pleased with the service and surprised the first time when they provided a modest meal during flight. The flight departed and arrived on time. The check in was superb. The flight attendants are attentive to the needs of the passengers. I would definitely use this airlines again when flying to Mexico.
