The non-stop arrival was good, the return trip had a brief layover in LAX and was packed to the gills with kids, people eating greasy smelling food, dogs under the seat, and kids everywhere!
Also, I have not had a chance to use the "watchdog" service because whenever I click on the deal it is over, so this was a flight booked straight from the airline website.

The entire flight process with Southwest was smooth and friendly. For a discount airline the entire experiance was much better than we had expected and we will fly Southwest again.

everyone very nice except one flight attendant who was rather cool --- i think she was more worried about messing up her make-up than being nice ------ha - a legend in her own mind!!

flights were perfect, departure an hour late, but arrival was only 40 minutes late. New plane on Southwest,seats are much narrower, did not like pat down experience at security, they even went through my hair (not necessary) so was not happy with that, probably will not fly as often as I used to, but I have nothing but praise for Southwest, an ideal airline.

I recently switched to SW from UA because I fly with my dog in the cabin and the prices for UA are too high and the flight attendants are not nice to dog people

security search is getting too uncomfortable. Had 3 gate changes, one hour late departing after all that was a good flight and excellent service.

I was booked on a 5 PM flight from Chicago Midway arriving home in Phoenix 6:50 PM (both horrible rush hour times, but the earliest flight I thought I could make with my appointments). My plans changed and I arrived at Midway at 1 PM. When I went to the check-in at Southwest, the agent told me there was room on a 2:30 PM flight that was due to arrive in Phoenix at 4:20 PM. This flight wasn't full, so the middle seat remained empty. The flight ended up arriving at 3:50 PM, so I was home 3 hours earlier than originally planned!!!
