    We checked in online and printed our boarding passes off at home, went directly to security check points once we arrived at airport and carried our luggage on. Coming and going both flights left exactly on time - no problems whatsoever. A little shocked everything went so smoothly for the high peak traveling time of Thanksgiving weekend! Served one cold complimentary beverage in flight, plane was clean, easy traveling experience.

    No extras, small seats, on time, nothing to eat, full plane, old disinterested attendents and got there safely (so amen).

    I was skeptical to use AirTran since they are a budget airline, however the flight was satisfactory. I will be using them again. I use carry-on bags as my standard to avoid charges/delays. The in-flight snack was a tiny bag of pretzels and a small cup of soda, but they will give you the whole soda can if you just ask. Check-in was difficult because we did not reserve designated seats ahead of time.We got to the check-in kiosk & the computer was telling us that the flight was booked. *gasp* Turned out to not be a problem. The airline desk was able to book us seats..first class for our return flight!

    Departing from gate pilot noted flaps were erratic. Ground crew worked on problem for 30 min and said all was AOK. Pilot started to back out of gate after checking and the problem reoccurred. Pilot then came on speaker and said he was not taking this plane anywhere. US Airways had us another plane with same flight crew withing 30 min and we made us time flying to NOLA. All in all we were only 45 minutes late..excellent for switching panes unexpectedly. hats off to US Airways

    The airlines continue provide terrible seating on their flights in economy class and this was no exception. I am over 6 ft tall and my knees push into the seat ahead of me. If the person in front of me reclines, it becomes totally miserable. I was told that I could pay more money for a comfortable seat due to my height. It is almost impossible to get a seat by the egress areas as they are not premium seats. Couple that with paying for your baggage is causing me to lose interest in flying.
