We checked in early and received a "thank you" from an American employee at the American desk at Charlotte airport. The first leg to Chicago was a little rough and bumpy, but that's not the fault of American Airlines. The second leg from Chicago to Albuquerque was what most people would refer to as "uneventful", but I will comment on the job the stewardesses did...they were very nice and conducted their work in a cheerful manner, which is refreshing in light of the packed aircraft these days. Seats in economy seats these days are nothing to brag about anyway, but the service provided was commendable, so I gave American a higher rating compared to the other airlines (none of them are anything to brag about these days, and it seems to be getting more crowded and packed, with charges for everything).
