We had the most terrible experience on easter friday with Delta airlines. we cheched in in advance and had the surpise that our luggage could not be check in because we showed up at 5h55 pm for a flifht that was leaving at 6h26pm. we were denied of the 1000$ easter trip to see our family that had not seen in the past 3 years. We ask for a supervisor that showed up 35 minutes after. We had a lot bad talk insult and attitude from that supervisor Jane ... We ask to go on board without our lugage altough we where on time to check in ... we where denied. The tickets where cancelled, my paid in advance car reservation gone... my easter vacation done the drain...no options or offer or alternative from these people.
In the end we had to take our car and drive 13 hours to washington went trough a ice strom in vermont, almost died with a flat tire in new jersey and a very difficult return in the adirondack with rain and fog that you would not beleive...
Thank you delta for the super customer experience, we will never fly delta again and will never recommend delta to all. In the end I don't see any reason for the way that we where treated except maybe that we where Canadians.
My conclusion is the following: Canadians avoid Delta at any cost they are not there to serve , help or create a client experience.
