Plane is a Horizon regional carrier which meansvery limited space. They offer "ala carte" baggage service which is a great idea that I wish more airlines would do. Instead of loading all the carryon bags in the over heads, there is a rollong cart at the gate. You put your bag on the cart and get on the plane. This totally minimises the fighting for over head space and all the time that takes. Boarding and deplaning are greatly improved. At the destination, bags are put on a cart at the gate for retrieval. It's like checking a bag with out paying or having to wait at baggage claim. A great service.

everything went great. Flights both ways were on time, and the attendants were very nice. "Snacks" were a little skimpy but good

The plane left on time (if not a little early) both ways. No problems at all with service. Check in at both airports was easy, baggage claim easy. Best of all the flights were not booked so there were empty seats next to me both ways!

Northwest to Southwest. Crazy! 4 1/2 hour flight with 1 stop (vs. 2 hours nonstop flight). Not fun. Especially when you can't deboard the plane AND the new passengers are boarded late. Left the house in Portland at 5:00am to catch the train to the airport - landed in Burbank at 1:00pm. Crazy long!

Everything is easy to do, book online is a breeze, check in is simple and straight forward. The personnel and crew are very pleasant and cheerful.
For almost all flight I would begin first with Southwest.
