I thought leaving from Burbank on the first flight of the day would be easy!
Wrong-o! After our departure time had passed we were informed that
there was a problem with the catering truck and that we couldn't leave until the
it was jump started. After what appeared to be much "thumb twiddling and
head scratching" on the part of the ground crew and a conference with one of the pilots, cables were delivered and the truck was started and moved away. By the time we left the ground for DFW an hour had elapsed! Many on the plane
missed their connection in Dallas. Other than this hiccup, the flight was pleasant and the service good, but I can't for the life of me understand why
the folks at the Bob Hope airport couldn't move faster!
