Our initial flight out of Burbank was delayed due to mechanical problems and since we would miss our connecting flight we had to be rescheduled and arrived in Denver later than originally planned.
Southwest did reschedule us decently and allowed us a phone call.
However our boarding numbers were not as good as our originals and since it was an early flight I had set my alarm to get up early and check in.

THESE ARE THE 3-SERIES BMWs OF THE AIRLINE FLEETS. CONSIDER TICKETLESS RESERVATIONS, CURBSIDE GATE CHECK-IN, TWO FREE CARRY-ON BAG PRIVILEGES AND ON-TIME SERVICE, AND YOU HAVE A WINNING FORMULA OF HOW TO RUN AN AIRLINE.

Flight to Denver was awesome great flight crew 2 hr flight took 1 1/2 hr's the flight back was different my plane boarded at 6:05 I arrived at boarding gate at 6:12 when I asked the counter person if this was the correct gate (it has multiple gate #'s) they clicked on the computer and informed me that they just closed the gate after I asked, not before what a piece of work. Next I had to fly to San Francisco for $70 more plane was to depart at 8:30 didn't leave till 10 landed in Frisco at 11:30 decided hotel was better than airport seats $60 bucks had to get up at 4:30am to make sure I didn't miss my Burbank flight so DON'T be ontime in Denver be ahead of time :-)

After flying United and American and feeling like smashed sardines it was great to fly Southwest with plenty of leg and seat room. What a pleasure. The cabin crew is personable and often quite funny. My ONLY complaint was sitting on the tarmac for 1/2 an hour on arrival waiting for a gate to open up. Some snafu with a previous arrival but non the less annoying, especially at 10 p.m. and people waiting to pick us up - circling the airport. But I was amazed at how much leg room there was after flying the previously mentioned airlines. Gold star for Southwest - wish some other airlines would take a page from their book!
